How you’ll make a difference 

You’ll support on all aspects of the operation and development of Database Activity Monitoring (DAM) – Guardium controls. As part of the strategy to streamline the CISO organisation and inhouse key services, this role will reinforce the Data Security team, with a DAM subject matter expert who can manage, develop, implement, and operate DAM tools (Guardium) and processes.  

 

You’ll work with the Data Security Manager on all Guardium operational, development and governance tasks, including system onboarding/agent implementations, whitelisting processes, system health-checking, testing and alert management.  

  
What you’ll bring 

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to confidently present complex information in a digestible way.
  • Ability to multi-task & work in a fast-changing environment.
  • Ability to challenge the status quo – always look for ways to make things more efficient and effective. 
  • Strong technical, analytical, problem-solving as well as process management skills.
  • Experienced in Database Activity Monitoring operations, for example, system configuration, policy/rule management and system health checking.
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in an information technology subject or relevant work history.
  • Proficient in the operation of the Guardium Database Activity Monitoring system or equivalent system.
  • Knowledgeable in encryption technology and data loss prevention controls.

 

Selection process
There will likely be a 30-minute informal, exploratory chat with the Hiring Manager followed by a structured interview via Teams with the Hiring Manager plus another member of the team.   Here are some of the questions you’ll be asked at interview:
