How you’ll make a difference
The Senior Network & Security TDA Engineer plays a pivotal role in delivering robust, secure, and well designed network services across TSB by acting as the technical lead for F5 LTM/GTM platforms and other core network and security technologies. 

 

The role ensures end to end design quality, drives architectural improvements, supports project delivery, collaborates with suppliers and internal stakeholders, and provides expert L3 escalation support. A strong candidate will make a significant difference by bringing deep technical leadership, delivering high quality solution designs, improving operational standards, and shaping the evolution of TSB’s network and security infrastructure.

 

What you’ll bring

  • Proven background in technically leading and supporting complex network/security environments within large, multi site organisations.
  • Strong design and problem solving capability, contributing to operational improvements aligned to business strategy. 
  • Subject matter expertise in F5 LTM and GTM platforms, acting as an escalation point. 
  • Ability to produce and maintain high quality design standards, patterns, and documentation to support governance and configuration processes. 
  • Experience in end to end solution design, engineering, deployment, and collaboration with managed service providers and suppliers. 
  • Strong technical knowledge across TSB relevant platforms such as Cisco R&S/ACI, NG Firewalls (Fortinet/Cisco/Palo Alto), SD WAN, ISE/TACACS, Proxy, Infoblox, Forescout, Meraki WiFi, Akamai, etc. 
  • Ability to gather technical requirements and translate them into detailed solution design documentation. 
  • Experience providing L3 engineering support, troubleshooting complex deployments, and supporting project related technical issues.
